Nancy McElwain


An Associate Professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, Dr. McElwain's research is focused on the physiological and neural correlates of emotion regulation, child-parent attachment and children’s social-emotional competence, maternal speech prosody and mother-child interaction, parental socialization of emotion, family-peer linkages, and children's friendships.
