With FRC Director Jacinda K. Dariotis leading the way, the Family Resiliency Center takes an inclusive and holistic approach to design, conduct, and disseminate research used to form policies, programs, and services that enhance people's lives. With a 2022 strategic plan in place, FRC researchers and scholars use the evolving FRAME research hubs to mitigate harm, prevent suffering, and optimize the lives of families and communities.

Partnering through our Collaboratory with like-minded individuals and organizations, FRC confronts national issues such as poverty, health disparities, and violence in communities. The center shares its resources and knowledge to decipher what works for whom, with the goal of helping the most susceptible in society flourish.

FRC’s transdisciplinary and participatory culture extends to innovative training opportunities, workshops, boot camps, and a future certificate program. Experts at FRC translate their knowledge to community members, who then relate their understanding to others in a "pyramid" fashion of learning. In this way, FRC continues to carry out and expand upon the original mission shared by Doris Kelley Christopher and the Family Resiliency Program.
